মোস্তাফিজুর রহমান,সরিষাবাড়ী প্রতিনিধি: জামালপুরের সরিষাবাড়ীতে বজ্রপাতে রুবেল মিয়া (৩৫) নামে এক যুবকের মৃত্যু হয়েছে।
সরিষাবাড়ী পৌরসভার বলারদিয়ার গ্রামে এ ঘটনা ঘটে। স্থানীয় ও প্রত্যক্ষদশী সূত্রে জানা যায়, নিহত রুবেল মিয়া আজ সোমবার দুপুরে তার শ্বশুর সুরুজ মিয়া’র জমিতে ধান কাটতে গেলে বজ্রপাতে গুরুতর আহত হয়।
এ সময় নিহতের স্ত্রী লিমা তার স্বামী রুবেল মিয়াকে উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে নিয়ে আসে। হাসপাতালের কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক তাকে মৃত ঘোষণা করেন। তিনি উপজেলার মহাদান ইউনিয়নের রঘুনাথপুর গ্রামের মিন্টু মিয়া’র ছেলে বলে জানা গেছে।
