ছাত্রদলের কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির সভাপতি হয়েছেন কাজী রওনাকুল ইসলাম শ্রাবণ। তিনি যশোরের কেশবপুর উপজেলা আওয়ামী লীগের সহ-সভাপতি ও উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান কাজী রফিকুল ইসলামের ছেলে।
রোববার বিএনপির সিনিয়র যুগ্ম মহাসচিব অ্যাডভোকেট রুহুল কবির রিজভী স্বাক্ষরিত এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে কেন্দ্রীয় ছাত্রদলের আংশিক কমিটি ঘোষণা করা হয়। ওই কমিটি ঘোষণার পর সামাজিক যোগাযোগমাধ্যমে নানাভাবে আলোচিত হচ্ছে শ্রাবণের সভাপতি হওয়ার বিষয়টি।
এর আগে ২০১৯ সালের ১৪ সেপ্টেম্বরে ছাত্রদলের কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির সম্মেলনে সভাপতি প্রার্থী ছিলেন কাজী রওনাকুল ইসলাম শ্রাবণ। সেই সময় আওয়ামী লীগ নেতার ছেলে ছাত্রদলের সভাপতি প্রার্থী হওয়া নিয়ে ব্যাপক আলোচনা হয়। ওই সম্মেলনে ভোটে হেরে তিনি সিনিয়র সহ-সভাপতি মনোনীত হন।
স্থানীয় সূত্র জানায়, রফিকুল ইসলামের বড় ছেলে কাজী মুস্তাফিজুর রহমান উপজেলা আওয়ামী লীগের সাবেক সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক। মেজো ছেলে কাজী মুজাহিদুল ইসলাম পান্না উপজেলা যুবলীগের সাবেক আহবায়ক। সেজো ছেলে কাজী আজাহারুল ইসলাম মানিক উপজেলা ছাত্রলীগের সাবেক আহ্বায়ক। আর রফিকুল ইসলামের ছোট ছেলে রওনাকুল ইসলাম শ্রাবণ। কেশবপুরে কাজী পরিবারের প্রায় সবাই আওয়ামী লীগের সঙ্গে যুক্ত থাকলেও কাজী রওনাকুল ইসলাম শ্রাবণ ছাত্রদলের কেন্দ্রীয় সভাপতি হওয়ায় সামাজিক যোগাযোগমাধ্যমে আলোচনা চলছে।
এ বিষয়ে কেশবপুর উপজেলা আওয়ামী লীগের সভাপতি মাস্টার রুহুল আমিন বলেন, রাজনীতি করার অধিকার সবার আছে। পরিবারের সবাই আওয়ামী লীগের রাজনীতি করলেও শ্রাবণ ছাত্রকাল থেকেই বিএনপির রাজনীতির সঙ্গে সম্পৃক্ত। এতে দোষের কিছু নেই। শ্রাবণ ছাত্রদলের কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির সভাপতি নির্বাচিত হয়েছে- এটাকে ইতিবাচক হিসেবেই দেখছি। এ বিষয়টি নিয়ে আমাদের দলে কোনো মিশ্রপ্রতিক্রিয়া আছে বলে মনে হয় না
