পেয়ার আহাম্মদ চৌধুরীঃ ইফতার হাতে বিতরণকারী সামনে ক্যামরা ম্যান ইফতার হাতে দিয়ে একটার পর একটা ছবি তোলে যাচ্ছেন এইটাই নিয়ম! না ইফতার হাতে তোলে দিয়ে কোনো ছবিও তোলা হয়নি।
রোববার (২৫ এপ্রিল) বিকেলে ফেনীতে রোজাদারদের মধ্যে ইফতার বিতরণের এ ব্যতিক্রমী আয়োজন করেছে স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠন ‘মাটি’ সেখানে তোলা হয়নি কোন ছবি।
ফেনী শহরের ট্রাংক রোড শহীদ মিনার প্রাঙ্গণ, দোয়েল চত্বরে সারি সারি করে সাজানো ছিলো ইফতারের বক্স ও বিশুদ্ধ পানির বোতল। ছিলো না কোনো বিতরণকারী, রোজাদার যে কেউ নিতে পারছেন ইফতার।
সংগঠনের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা আমের মক্কী জানান, রোজাদার ইফতার নিতে সংকোচবোধ করেন, অনেক সময় কারোর হাত থেকে ইফতার নিতে অনেকে লজ্জা পান। রাস্তার অসহায় রোজাদার যাতে লজ্জা না পেতে হয় সেজন্যই আমরা এ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করেছি।
তিনব আরো জানান, বোরবার থেকে আনুষ্ঠানিক এ কার্যাক্রম শুরু হয়েছে, পরিকল্পনা রয়েছে শেষ রোজা পর্যন্ত ইফতারের ব্যবস্থা করার।
ইফতারের পাশাপাশি গরিব অসহায় ছিন্নমূল মানুষদের মধ্যে সেহেরি বিতরণের পরিকল্পনাও করা হয়েছে।
এছাড়া যেসব পরিবার করোনার লকডাউনের কারণে কর্মহীন হয়ে পড়েছে সেসব পরিবারের মধ্যে খাদ্য সহায়তা ও গরিব, অসহায় শিশুদের জন্য শিশু খাদ্য বিতরণ করা হচ্ছে।
আমের মক্কী আরো বলেন, বিভিন্ন শ্রেণী-পেশার মানুষ ও দেশের বাইরের প্রবাসীদের আর্থিক সহায়তার মধ্য দিয়ে স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠন মাটি’র মাধ্যমে এসব কর্মসূচি বাস্তবায়ন হয়ে আসছে। কেউ যদি এ কাজে অংশ গ্রহণ করতে চান তাহলে যোগাযোগ করতে পারেন সংগঠনের সাথে।
