সিরাজগঞ্জে যৌন পেশায় নামতে রাজি না হওয়ায় ঘি বিক্রেতা এক নারীকে
মারধরের অভিযোগ উঠেছে পৌর যুবলীগ নেতা আবু মুসার বিরুদ্ধে। আহত ওই নারী বর্তমানে বঙ্গমাতা শেখ ফজিলাতুন্নেছা মুজিব হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন। অভিযুক্ত দাবি করছেন, ব্যবসায়িক দ্বন্দ্বের জেরে তার বিরুদ্ধে ষড়যন্ত্রের অংশ হিসেবে এ অভিযোগ তোলা হয়েছে।
মঙ্গলবার (১৩ জুলাই) দুপুরে সদর হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় সাংবাদিকদের কাছে এ অভিযোগ তোলেন ওই নারী। তার দাবি, গতzরোববার (১০ জুলাই) রাতে নিজের ভাড়া বাসায় যুবলীগ নেতা আবু মুসার নেতৃত্বে একদল লোকের মারধরের শিকার হয়েছেন তিনি।
অভিযুক্ত আবু মুসা সিরাজগঞ্জ পৌর যুবলীগের আহ্বায়ক কমিটির সদস্য এবং ‘আড্ডা ফাস্টফুড’ নামে একটি প্রতিষ্ঠানের পরিচালক।
অভিযোগ সূত্রে জানা যায়, মারধরের শিকার ওই নারী ছেলেমেয়ে নিয়ে দীর্ঘদিন ধরে সিরাজগঞ্জ শহরে একটি ভাড়া বাসায় বসবাস করছেন। প্রায় ছয় বছর ধরে ওই বাসা থেকে তিনি শহরের বিভিন্ন হোটেল-রেস্টুরেন্ট ও ফাস্টফুডের দোকানে খুচরা এবং পাইকারি ঘি সরবরাহ করছেন। তিনি শহরের এস এস রোডের ‘আড্ডা ফাস্টফুডেও’ দুই বছর ধরে ঘি সরবরাহ করছেন। ব্যবসা করতে গিয়ে ওই প্রতিষ্ঠানের পরিচালক আবু মুসার সঙ্গে পরিচয় হয় তার। এক সময় ওই নারীকে ভয়ভীতিসহ টাকার বিনিময়ে পরপুরুষের সঙ্গে অনৈতিক কাজ করার প্রস্তাব দেন আবু মুসা। প্রস্তাবে রাজি হলে প্রতি মাসে ৩০ হাজার টাকা দেয়ার প্রতিশ্রুতিও দেন। কিন্তু বরাবরই প্রত্যাখ্যান করছিলেন ওই নারী।
বারবার কুপ্রস্তাব দিয়ে রাজি করতে ব্যর্থ হয়ে রোববার (১০ জুলাই) রাতে মুসা তার ভাই খলিলের স্ত্রীকে দিয়ে আবারও ওই নারীর বাসায় গিয়ে কুপ্রস্তাব দেন। এতে রাজি না হওয়ায় মুসা ও তার ভাই খলিলের নেতৃত্বে লোকজন ওই নারীকে মারধর করেন। এ সময় ওই নারী ও তার ছেলেমেয়েদের চিৎকারে স্থানীয়রা এগিয়ে এলে মুসা দলবল নিয়ে পালিয়ে যায়।
আহতাবস্থায় ওই নারী সন্তানদের নিয়ে সিরাজগঞ্জ সদর থানায় যান এবং আবু মুসা ও তার ভাই খলিলের নাম উল্লেখ করে ছয়-আটজনের নামে একটি লিখিত অভিযোগ করেন। অভিযোগটি আমলে নিয়ে পুলিশ ওই নারীকে বাড়ি পৌঁছে দেয়।
পরদিন সোমবার (১১ জুলাই) বুকের ব্যথা বেশি হওয়ায় বঙ্গমাতা শেখ ফজিলাতুন্নেছা মুজিব হাসপাতালে গেলে কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক ওই নারীকে সার্জারি ওয়ার্ডে ভর্তি করেন। বর্তমানে হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন ওই নারী নিরাপত্তাহীনতায় ভুগছেন বলে দাবি করেছেন। তিনি তার নিরাপত্তার জন্য সিরাজগঞ্জ পুলিশ সুপারের হস্তক্ষেপ কামনা করেন।
ওই নারী অভিযোগ করে বলেন, আড্ডা ফাস্টফুডের আড়ালে সেখানে বিভিন্ন স্থান থেকে যৌনকর্মী এনে অবৈধ চালিয়ে আসছেন মুসা। প্রভাবশালী যুবলীগ নেতা হওয়ায় তার ভয়ে কেউ মুখ খুলতে সাহস পান না। মুসা অনেক নারীকে নানা প্রলোভন দেখিয়ে অবৈধ কাজে বাধ্য করেছেন। প্রশাসনের ছত্রচ্ছায়ায় অবৈধ কাজ করলেও তার আড্ডা ফাস্টফুডে কোনো অভিযান চালানো হয় না। সবকিছু ম্যানেজ করেই এ ব্যবসা করছেন তিনি। এ ঘটনায় প্রশাসনের পক্ষ থেকে তদন্তসাপেক্ষে সুষ্ঠু বিচারের দাবি জানাই।
সিরাজগঞ্জ বঙ্গমাতা শেখ ফজিলাতুন্নেছা মুজিব হাসপাতালের জরুরি বিভাগের চিকিৎসক শামীমুল ইসলাম বলেন, বুকে ও শরীরের বিভিন্ন অংশে আঘাতের চিহ্ন নিয়ে সোমবার সকালে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হন ওই নারী। তার বুকে প্রচণ্ড ব্যথা হওয়ায় তাকে বিভিন্ন পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষা করানো হয়েছে। বর্তমানে তিনি সার্জারি ওয়ার্ডে চিকিৎসাধীন।
অভিযুক্ত সিরাজগঞ্জ পৌর যুবলীগের সদস্য আবু মুসা বলেন, ঘটনাটি আমার বিরুদ্ধে ষড়যন্ত্র। আমাকে সামাজিকভাবে হেয়প্রতিপন্ন করতেই এ ধরনের মিথ্যা নাটক সাজানো হয়েছে।
এ বিষয়ে সিরাজগঞ্জ জেলা যুবলীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক মো. একরামুল হক বলেন, যুবলীগ কখনই কোনো অনৈতিক কর্মকাণ্ডকে প্রশ্রয় দেয় না। যদি যুবলীগের কোনো নেতাকর্মী এ ঘটনার সঙ্গে জড়িত থাকেন, তাহলে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে সাংগঠনিকভাবে ব্যবস্থা নেয়া হবে।
এ বিষয়ে সিরাজগঞ্জ সদর থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) বাহাউদ্দিন ফারুকী জানান, শহরের এক নারী এ সম্পর্কিত একটি লিখিত অভিযোগ থানায় দিয়েছেন। অভিযোগটি আমলে নেয়া হয়েছে। তদন্তপূর্বক আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা নেয়া হবে।
