সিরাজগঞ্জের তাড়াশে নসিমনের ধাক্কায় শান্তি বেওয়া (৭০) নামের এক বৃদ্ধা নারী নিহত হয়েছেন।
বৃহস্পতিবার (১৯ আগষ্ট) সকাল সাড়ে ১০টার দিকে তাড়াশ উপজেলার নওগাঁ ইউনিয়নের খালখুলা-নওগাঁ আঞ্চলিক সড়কের মাটিয়া পুকুরপাড় এলাকায় এ দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে।
শান্তি বেওয়া তাড়াশ উপজেলার নওগাঁ ইউনিয়নের মাটিয়া পুকুরপাড়ার মৃত জিল্লুর রহমানের স্ত্রী।
নিহত বৃদ্ধার ছেলে সাইফুল ইসলাম বলেন, আমার বৃদ্ধ মা রাস্তা পার হওয়ার সময়ে একটি নসিমন গাড়ীর ধাক্কায় গুরুতর আহত হয়। এ সময় প্রতিবেশিরা উদ্ধার করে মাথায় পানি দিয়ে সুস্থ করার চেষ্টা করেন। এক পর্যায়ে বাড়িতেই তিনি মারা যান। তবে গাড়ী চালকের ওপর কোন দাবী না থাকায় গাড়ীর চালক চলে যায়।
তাড়াশ থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) মো. ফজলে আশিক জানান, এমন খবর আমাদের জানা নেই। অভিযোগ পেলে আইনগত ব্যবস্থা গ্রহন করা হবে।
