বাংলাদেশ রেলওয়ের ঈশ্বরদী পাকশী বিভাগীয় সহকারী বাণিজ্যিক কর্মকর্তা (এসিও) চলমান অভিযানে বিনাটিকিটে ১৩টি স্টেশন থেকে ট্রেনে ওঠা ৫০০ যাত্রীকে নামিয়ে দিয়েছেন ।ঢাকা-চিলাহাটি-ঢাকাগামী আন্তঃনগর নীলসাগর এক্সপ্রেস ট্রেনে এ অভিযান চালানো হয়।বিভিন্ন স্টেশন থেকে এ সময় ওঠে পড়া ৫৩ যাত্রীর কাছ থেকে ভাড়াসহ জরিমানাও আদায় করা হয়েছে।
শুক্রবার দুপুর সাড়ে ১২টায় পাকশী বিভাগীয় রেলওয়ের এসিও সাজেদুল ইসলাম বাবু এ তথ্য জানান।তিনি বলেন, করোনাকালে সরকারি নির্দেশনা মেনে যাত্রীদের ট্রেন ভ্রমণ নিশ্চিতকল্পে অভিযান চলমান থাকবে।অভিযানের স্টেশনগুলো হলো- মুলাডুলি, নাটোর, আহসানগঞ্জ, সান্তাহার, আক্কেলপুর, জয়পুরহাট, বিরামপুর, ফুলবাড়ী, পার্বতীপুর, সৈয়দপুর, নীলফামারী, ডোমার ও চিলাহাটি।
এসিও জানান, স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে ঈশ্বরদীর মুলাডুলি থেকে চিলাহাটি পর্যন্ত ১৩টি স্টেশনে টিকিটবিহীন কোনো যাত্রী ট্রেনে উঠতে দেওয়া হয়নি। এ সময় বিনাটিকেটে ট্রেনে চড়ার দায়ে ৫৩ যাত্রীর কাছ থেকে ভাড়াবাবদ ২৩ হাজার ও জরিমানা বাবদ ১৫ হাজার সর্বমোট ৩৮ হাজার টাকা আদায় করা হয়।
বৃহস্পতিবার সকাল থেকে রাত পর্যন্ত ঢাকা-চিলাহাটি-ঢাকাগামী নীলসাগর এক্সপ্রেস ট্রেনে অভিযানে এসিও সাজেদুল ইসলাম বাবুর নেতৃত্বে ভ্রাম্যমাণ টিকিট পরীক্ষক, রেলওয়ে কর্মচারী ও নিরাপত্তা বাহিনীর সদস্যরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
