পাবনার চাটমোহর থানা পুলিশ গোপণ সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে পৃথক পৃথক অভিযান চালিয়ে দুই মাদক ব্যবসায়ী ও একজন মাদকসেবীকে আটক করেছে।আটককৃতরা হলো- দোলং গ্রামের মাসুদ করিমের ছেলে আনোয়ার পারভেজ জনি (৩৮), ছাইকোলা গ্রামের মইনুল হকের ছেলে ইমামুল হক পাভেল (৩২) ও বালুদিয়ার গ্রামের মৃত আ. রউফের ছেলে আনিছুর রহমান আনিছ (৪০)।
শনিবার গোপণ সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে বিকেল ৬টায় চাটমোহর পরিক্রম বিদ্যানিকেতনের পাশে আনোয়ার পারভেজ জনির কম্পিউটারের দোকান থেকে এসআই প্রদীপ চন্দ্র শীল সঙ্গীয় ফৌর্স নিয়ে ৬ বোতল ফেন্সিডিলসহ আনোয়ার পারভেজ জনি ও ইমামুল হক পাভেলকে আটক করেন।
এছাড়া ঐদিন রাতে থানার ইন্সপেক্টর (তদন্ত) হাসান বাশির ও এসআই সুব্রত কুমার ঘোষ মুলগ্রাম ইউনিয়নের বালুদিয়ার গ্রামে অভিযান চালিয়ে আনিছুর রহমান আনিছকে ৫২০ গ্রাম গাঁজাসহ আটক করা হয়।আটককৃত জনি ও আনিছের বিরুদ্ধে মাদক বিক্রি এবং পাভেলের বিরুদ্ধে মাদক সেবনের মামলা দায়ের হয়েছে।চাটমোহর থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ মুহাম্মদ আনোয়ার হোসেন জানান, আটককৃতদের বিরুদ্ধে মাদকদ্রব্য আইনে মামলা হয়েছে। তাদের জেল হাজতে প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে।
