মিজানুর রহমান,নগরকন্দা (ফরিদপুর) প্রতিনিধি ঃফরিদপুরের নগরকান্দার তালমা ইউনিয়নের রসুলপুর, গহেরপুর ও বিবিরকান্দি নামক গ্রামের উপর দিয়ে বয়ে যাওয়া ৫০ সেকেন্ডের টর্ণেডো ঝড়ে সব ভেঙ্গে চুরে ধুমড়ে মুচড়ে লন্ডভন্ড হয়ে গেছে।
২৭ মে বৃহস্পতিবার সকাল ৬ টায় হঠাৎ করেই টর্ণেডো শুরুহয়। এতে প্রায় শতাধীক ঘরবাড়ী মুহুর্তের মধ্যই লন্ডভন্ড হয়ে যায়। ভেঙ্গে পড়ে বড় বড় ঘর ও গাছপালা। এতে কয়েকটি গ্রামের মানুষ গৃহহীন হয়ে খোলা আকাশের নিচে আশ্রয় নিয়েছে।
খবর পেয়ে নগরকান্দা উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা জেতী প্রæ, প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়ন কর্মকর্তা ইকবাল কবির ঘটনা স্থল পরিদর্শন করেছেন এবং ক্ষতিগ্রস্থদেরকে আর্থিক সহায়তা প্রদান করেন।
