ফরিদপুরের বোয়ালমারী পৌর শহরের মেসার্স বাবুল এন্ড ব্রাদার্স নামে একটি টিনের দোকানের সাটারের তালা ভেঙ্গে এক দুধর্ষ চুরি সংঘঠিত হয়েছে। শনিবার (৪ সেপ্টেম্বর) দিবাগত রাতে এ ঘটনা ঘটে।
পৌর শহরের টিনপট্টিতে অবস্থিত মেসার্স বাবুল এন্ড ব্রাদার্স এর মালিক সিরাজুল ইসলাম জানান, শনিবার রাত ১০ টার দিকে বেচাকেনা শেষ করে দোকান বন্ধ করে বাড়িতে চলে যায়। রোববার সকাল ৯ টায় দোকানে এসে দেখি দোকানের সাটারের তালা ভাঙ্গা। এসময় দোকানের মধ্যে গিয়ে দেখি চোরেরা সিন্ধুকের তালা ভেঙ্গে নগদ ২ লাখ ৫০ হাজার টাকা ও দেড় ভরি ওজনের স্বর্ণের গহনা নিয়ে গেছে। এ ঘটনায় বোয়ালমারী থানায় একটি লিখিত অভিযোগ দিয়েছি।
বোয়ালমারী থানা অফিসার ইনচার্জ মোহাম্মদ নুরুল আলম বলেন, চুরির সংবাদ পেয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে পুলিশ পাঠানো হয়েছিল। তদন্ত করে আইনগত ব্যবস্থা নেয়া হবে।
