মিজানুর রহমান নগরকান্দা (ফরিদপুর) প্রতিনিধিঃ উল্লেখ্য গত ১১ মে মঙ্গলবার ফরিদপুরে একটি ইফতার পার্টিতে অংশ নিতে সালথার কিছু সংবাদকর্মী মাইক্রোবাস যোগে ফরিদপুরের উদ্দেশ্যে রওয়ানা হয়। পথিমধ্যে মাইক্রোবাসটি দুর্ঘটনার কবলে পড়লে গাড়িতে থাকা ১০ জন সংবাদকর্মী গুরুতর আহত হয়। পরে তাদের চিকিৎসার জন্য ফরিদপুর বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়।
ঘটনার খবরে মানবতার ফেরিওয়ালা খ্যাত বিশিষ্ট সমাজসেবক রিয়া রাথিন গ্রুপের ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক কাজী আবদুস সোবহান তার ব্যক্তিগত প্রতিনিধিদের মাধ্যমে আহত সাংবাদিকদের খোঁজ খবর নেন।
পরে বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে তার প্রতিনিধি দল ফরিদপুর বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে আহত সাংবাদিকদের খোঁজ খবর নেন ও চিকিৎসার জন্য আর্থিক সহযোগিতা করেন।
