ঠাকুরগাঁওয়ের রাণীশংকৈলে কাঁঠাল গাছ থেকে পড়ে জিসা আক্তার(১০) নামের এক শিশু শিক্ষার্থীর মৃত্যু হয়েছে।
সোমবার(৫ জুলাই) দুপুরে উপজেলার আমজুয়ান গ্রামে এই ঘটনাটি ঘটে । মৃত শিশুটি হলেন বাঁচোর ইউনিয়নের ঐ গ্রামের মাজাহারুল ইসলামের কন্যা সন্তান । এবং স্থানীয় এক প্রাইমারী স্কুলের ৫ম শ্রেণির ছাত্রী।
স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা যায়, জিসা নামের শিশুটি বাড়ির পাশে একটি ছোট কাঁঠাল গাছে উঠলে বেখেয়ালে হঠাৎ করে পা পিছলে পড়ে যায় এবং ঘটনা স্থলেই তৎক্ষণাৎ শিশুটির মৃত্যু হয়।
ইউপি সদস্য ফারুক হোসেন ঘটনার সত্যতা নিশ্চিত করে বলেন,আমিও শুনেছি বাচ্চাটি তাদের একটি ছোট কাঁঠাল গাছে উঠেছিল, গাছ থেকেই পরে গিয়ে সে মারা যায়।
