ঠাকুরগাঁওয়ে প্রাইভেটকারের চাপায় এক স্কুল ছাত্রের মর্মান্তিক মৃত্যু ঘটেছে। জানাগেছে, ঠাকুরগাঁও শান্তিনগর এলাকার অরবিন্দু রায়ের ছেলে মুগ্ধ রায়(১৫) ঠাকুরগাঁও টিডিসি স্কুলের দশম শ্রেণীর ছাত্র। সে পড়া-লেখার পাশাপাশি ঠাকুরগাঁও সদর উপজেলার জগন্নাথপুর ইউনিয়নের পল্লী বিদ্যুৎ এলাকায় ইউনুস আলীর দোকানে কম্পিউটার অপারেটর হিসেবে কাজ করতো।
শনিবার(১৮ সেপ্টেম্বর) দুপুর আনুমানিক আড়াইটার দিকে বাসায় খাওয়া-দাওয়া শেষে দোকানের উদ্দেশ্যে বের হয়।দোকানের কাছাকাছি পৌছালে বিপরীত দিক থেকে আসা একটি প্রাইভেটকার তাকে চাপা দিয়ে পালিয়ে যায়। গুরুতর আহত অবস্থায় স্থানীয়রা তাকে উদ্ধার করে ঠাকুরগাঁও আধুনিক সদর হাসপাতালে নিয়ে আসলে কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক তাকে মৃত ঘোষণা করেন।
ঠাকুরগাঁও সদর থানার ওসি তদন্ত আতিক রহমান জানান,ঘটনাটি শুনেছি।নিহতের পরিবার থেকে অভিযোগ পেলে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে।
