নওগাঁর মহাদেবপুরে মৎস্য অধিদপ্তর রাজশাহী বিভাগে মৎস্য সম্পদ উন্নয়ন প্রকল্পের আওতায় প্রকৃত জেলেদের বিকল্প আয়বর্ধক কর্মসূচির অংশ হিসেবে ২০ জন মৎস্যজীবির মাঝে উন্নত মানের ছাগল ও উপকরন সহায়ক বিতরন করা হয়েছে। এ উপলক্ষে রবিবার ২৭ জুন বেলা ১১ টায় উপজেলা পরিষদ চত্বরে বিভিন্ন উপকরণ বিতরণ কর্মসূচি পালন করা হয়। উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার মিজানুর রহমান মিলন এতে সভাপতিত্ব করেন।
প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থেকে মৎস্যজীবীদের মাঝে বিভিন্ন উপকরণ সহায়ক বিতরণ করেন উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান আহসান হাবীব ভোদন। এসময় অন্যদের মধ্যে উপস্থিত ছিলেন উপজেলা পরিষদের ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান অনুকূল চন্দ্র সাহা বুদু, উপজেলা কৃষি অফিসার কৃষিবিদ অরুণ চন্দ্র রায়, উপজেলা সিনিয়র মৎস্য অফিসার মাকসুদুর রহমান, মৎস্য স¤প্রসারণ কর্মকর্তা এ কে এম জামান প্রমুখ।
উপজেলার কুঞ্জবন গ্রামের সানুর পুত্র গণেশ, চকহরিবল্লভ গ্রামের মৃত রামেন্দ্রর পুত্র মহাদেব, মৃত সুনীলের পুত্র নিখিল, দোহালি গ্রামের মৃত সুধীরের পুত্র আশু হাওলাদার সহ ২০ জনের মাঝে ছাগল বিতরণ করা হয়। এছাড়াও নাহিদ পারভেজকে ৫ বস্তা মাছের খাবার ও এক বস্তা চুন, সজীবকে ৫ বস্তা মাছের খাবার ও এক বস্তা চুন, মিলাদুন্নবীকে ৮ বস্তা মাছের খাবার ও এক বস্তা চুন, ওয়াশিমকে দুই বস্তা সরিষার খৈল ও এক বস্তা চুন দেওয়া হয়। উপজেলা সিনিয়র মৎস্য কর্মকর্তার কার্যালয় ২০২০-২১ অর্থবছরের অর্থায়নে এসব সহায়তা বিতরণ করেন।
