নওগাঁর আত্রাইয়ে ট্রাকের সাথে ধাক্কায় মোছাঃ কবেজান বেওয়া (৭০) নামে এক বৃদ্ধার মৃত্যু হয়েছে। বৃহস্পতিবার দুপুর ২ টার দিকে উপজেলার বরেন্দ্র অফিসে মোড়ে এ দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে। আত্রাই থানার তদন্ত (ওসি) মোঃ মোজাম্মেল হক কাজী বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন।
নিহত মোছাঃ কবেজান বেওয়া (৭০) উপজেলার পাঁচুপুর ইউনিয়নের জয়নাথপুর গ্ৰামের মৃত নজিবুর রহমানের স্ত্রী।
পরিবার সূত্রে জানা যায়, বৃহস্পতিবার দুপুরে পবন ডাঙ্গা গ্রামে থেকে নাতিন জামাইয়ের বাড়ি থেকে করোনা টিকা দেওয়ার জন্য আত্রাই উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে আসার পথে উপজেলার বরেন্দ্র অফিসে মোড়ে একটি ট্রাক ( রাজ মেট্রো- ট -১১-০৪৯৯ ) হঠাৎ সামনে চলে আসে এবং ভ্যানের এক চাকা গর্তে পড়লে ভ্যান থেকে ছিটকে পড়ে গিয়ে ট্রাকের চাকার নিচে পরে এই দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে। পরে স্থানীয়রা তাকে উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে নিয়ে গেলে, তার অবস্থা অবনতি হলে তার চিকিৎসা জন্য রাজশাহী মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে রেফার করা হলে রাস্তার মধ্যে তার মৃত্যু হয়।
আত্রাই থানার তদন্ত অফিসার মোঃ মোজাম্মেল হক কাজী এ ব্যপারে জানান, নিহত ব্যক্তিকে তার স্বজনদের হাতে দেয়া হচ্ছে। তবে নিহত পরিবারের অভিযোগের ভিত্তিতে পরবর্তী ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে বলে জানান তিনি।
