করোনাভাইরাসের সংক্রমণ বেড়ে যাওয়ায় ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলায় আবারো সাত দিনের লকডাউন ঘোষণা করেছে নবাগত ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলা প্রশাসন। বৃহস্পতিবার (২৪ জুন) থেকে এই লকডাউন কার্যকর হবে।
বুধবার (২৩ জুন) দুপুরে করোনা প্রতিরোধ সংক্রান্ত ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলা কমিটির সভাপতি ও ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলা প্রশাসক মাহবুবুর রহমান এক সভায় এ ঘোষণা দেন। সেখানে বলা হয়, ২৪ জুন বৃহস্পতিবার থেকে জরুরি প্রয়োজন ছাড়া সব ধরনের যানবাহন চলাচল বন্ধ থাকবে। পাশাপাশি খাবার ও ঔষুধের দোকান ছাড়া দোকানপাট ও শপিংমলও বন্ধ থাকবে বলে সভায় জানানো হয়। এদিকে ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলা সিভিল সার্জন অফিস সূত্র জানায়, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ১৪৪টি নমুনা পরীক্ষায় ৫৩ জনের শরীরে করোনাভাইরাস শনাক্ত হয়েছে। গত বছরের ১১ এপ্রিল ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলায় প্রথম করোনাভাইরাস আক্রান্ত শনাক্ত হয়। ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলায় এ পর্যন্ত দুই হাজার ৪১০ জন করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন। আর সুস্থ হয়েছেন এক হাজার ৬৫০ জন।
