ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলায় সড়কে প্রাণ গেল দুই যুবকের ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলায় নসিমন-থ্রি হুইলার সংঘর্ষে দুই যুবক নিহত হয়েছেন। বৃহস্পতিবার (৩ জুন) সন্ধ্যায় ঠাকুরগাঁও পল্লীবিদ্যুৎ অফিস সংলগ্ন এলাকায় এ ঘটনা ঘটে। এ সময় আরও ৬ জন আহত হয়েছেন।
পুলিশ ও স্থানীয়রা জানায়, রানীশংকৈল উপজেলার নেকমরদ থেকে যাত্রী নিয়ে একটি থ্রি হুইলার পল্লী বিদ্যুৎ অফিস সংলগ্ন এলাকায় পৌঁছালে বিপরীত দিক থেকে আসা একটি নসিমনের সঙ্গে মুখোমুখি সংঘর্ষ হয়। এতে ঘটনাস্থলে ১ যুবক মারা যান। পরে স্থানীয়রা গুরুতর আহত ৭ জনকে উদ্ধার করে হাসপাতালে নিয়ে গেরে সেখানে আরও ১ যুবকের মৃত্যু হয়।
এ রিপোর্ট লেখা পর্যন্ত হতাহতদের নাম-পরিচয় পাওয়া যায়নি। ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলা সদর হাসপাতালের আবাসিক মেডিকেল অফিসার (আরএমও) ডা. মো. রকিবুল আলম বলেন, আহতদের মধ্যে দুইজনের অবস্থা আশঙ্কাজনক। তাদের উন্নত চিকিৎসার জন্য তাদের রংপুর মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে পাঠানো হয়েছে।
