ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলায় জাতীয় ভিটামিন “এ” প্লাস ক্যাম্পেইন উপলক্ষে সাংবাদিকদের নিয়ে কর্মশালা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। ৩ জুন বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে সিভিল সার্জন কার্যালয়ের সভাকক্ষে এ কর্মশালা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
সিভিল সার্জন কার্যালয়ের আয়োজনে ও জাতীয় পুষ্টিসেবা, জনস্বাস্থ্য পুষ্টি প্রতিষ্ঠান, স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর ও স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার পরিবার কল্যাণ মন্ত্রণালয়ের বাস্তবায়নে কর্মশালায় বক্তব্য দেন- ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলা সিভিল সার্জন ডা. মাহফুজুর রহমান সরকার, মেডিকেল অফিসার ফারুক হোসেন, সাপ্তাহিক সংগ্রামী বাংলার সম্পাদক আব্দুল লতিফ, সাংবাদিক কল্যান ট্রাস্টের সাধারণ সম্পাদক শাহীন ফেরদৌস, ঠাকুরগাঁও প্রেস ক্লাবের সহ- সভাপতি জাকির মোস্তাফিজ মিলু, ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলা প্রেসক্লাবের সহ-সভাপতি মোঃ মজিবর রহমান শেখ, প্রমুখ। সভায় সিভিল সার্জন ডা. মাহফুজুর রহমান সরকার জানান, এ আগামী ৫-১৯ জুন পর্যন্ত ভিটামিন ‘এ’ প্লাস ক্যাম্পেইন অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।
জেলায় মোট ১ হাজার ৩৮৭ টি টিকাদান কেন্দ্রে ৬-১১ মাস বয়সী ২৩ হাজার ১৯৪ জন শিশুকে নীল রংয়ের এবং ১২-৫৯ মাস বয়সী ১ লাখ ৯০ হাজার ৮৩৬ জন শিশুকে লাল রংয়ের ভিটামিন ‘এ’ প্লাস ক্যাপসুল খাওয়ানো হবে।
