মোঃ মজিবর রহমান শেখ, ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলা প্রতিনিধি: ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলার পীরগঞ্জে অভ্যন্তরীণ বোরো ধান ও চাল সংগ্রহ অভিযান উদ্বোধন করা হয়েছে। মঙ্গলবার (১৮ মে) পীরগঞ্জ উপজেলার এলএসডি গোডাউনে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে প্রান্তিক কৃষক থেকে বোরো ধান সংগ্রহ কার্যক্রমের উদ্বোধন করেন সাবেক সংসদ সদস্য ইমদাদুল হক ও পৌর মেয়র বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা ইকরামুল হক।
অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন পীরগঞ্জ উপজেলা খাদ্য কর্মকর্তা জিয়াউল করিম,পীরগঞ্জ খাদ্য গুদাম কর্মকর্তা আসাদুজ্জামান, আ’লীগ নেতা গোলাম রব্বানী সহ প্রিন্ট ও ইলেকট্রনিক মিডিয়ায় সাংবাদিক বৃন্দ।এ সময় পীরগঞ্জ উপজেলা খাদ্য গুদাম কর্মকর্তা আসাদুজ্জামান বলেন, চলতি মৌসুমে এ উপজেলা কৃষকদের কাছ থেকে ২৭ টাকা দরে ১ হাজার ৬শত ৬২ মেট্রিক টন ধান, মিলারদের কাছে ৫ হাজার ৪ শত ৮৪ মেট্রিক টন চাল ৪০ টাকা দরে ক্রয় করা হবে।
আগামী ১৬ই আগষ্ট পর্যন্ত ধান ও চাল ক্রয় করা হবে।
