গোলাম রাব্বানী,মান্দা, নওগাঁ: নওগাঁ জেলার সদর উপজেলার শিকারপুর ইউনিয়নের হাঁসাইগাড়ী বিলের উঠান থেকে অরুণ সাহানা (৫০) নামে এক কৃষকের গলাকাটা মরদেহ উদ্ধার করেছে থানা পুলিশ। রবিবার (২ মে) সকালে সদর উপজেলার শিকারপুর ইউনিয়নের ওই বিল থেকে তার মরদেহ উদ্ধার করা হয়। অরুণ সাহানা একই এলাকার নামা হাতাশ গ্রামের মৃত উপচান সাহানার ছেলে।
জানা গেছে, অরুণ সাহানা গ্রামের পাশেই হাঁসাইগাড়ী বিলের মধ্যে মাঠে উঠান তৈরী করে প্রতি বছরের মতো ধান মাড়াই করে। শনিবার (১ মে) অরুণের ধানের কাটা-মাড়াই হয়েছে। রাতে বাড়িতে খাবার শেষে ধান পাহারা দেওয়ার জন্যে আসেন। রবিবার সকালে তার গলা কাটা মরদেহ দেখতে পেয়ে থানা পুলিশে সংবাদ দেন।
নওগাঁ সদর মডেল থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ নজরুল ইসলাম জুয়েল জানান, সকালে স্থানীয়রা অরুন সাহানার মরদেহ বাড়ি থেকে ৫শ গজ দুরে বিলের মধ্যে দেখতে পায়। এরপর থানায় খবর দিলে পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থল থেকে তার মরদেহ উদ্ধার করে। তিনি আরও জানান, মরদেহ উদ্ধারের সময় তার গলা কাটা ছিল। প্রাথমিক ভাবে ধারণা করা হচ্ছে গলা কেটে তাকে হত্যা করা হয়ে। মরদেহ ময়না তদন্তের জন্য হাসপাতালে পাঠানো হয়েছে।
