করোনাভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে দেশে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ৩৫ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এ নিয়ে মোট মৃতের সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে ২৭ হাজার ১৮২ জনে।
২৪ ঘণ্টায় নতুন করে করোনা শনাক্ত হয়েছে ১ হাজার ১৯০ জনের। এতে মোট শনাক্ত রোগীর সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে ১৫ লাখ ৪১ হাজার ৩০০ জনে।
শনিবার স্বাস্থ্য অধিদফতর থেকে পাঠানো করোনাবিষয়ক নিয়মিত সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এসব তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে।
স্বাস্থ্য অধিদফতরের বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়েছে, ২৪ ঘণ্টায় করোনা থেকে সুস্থ হয়েছেন ১ হাজার ৬৪৫ জন। এ পর্যন্ত মোট সুস্থ হয়েছেন ১৪ লাখ ৯৮ হাজার ৬৫৪ জন।
গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ১৯ হাজার ৮৯৬ জনের নমুনা সংগ্রহ করা হয়। পরীক্ষা করা হয় ১৯ হাজার ৬৬৮টি নমুনা। পরীক্ষার বিপরীতে রোগী শনাক্তের হার ৬ দশমিক ০৫ শতাংশ। এ পর্যন্ত মোট ৯৪ লাখ ১৩ হাজার ৩৩টি নমুনা পরীক্ষায় শনাক্তের হার ১৬ দশমিক ৩৭ শতাংশ।
২৪ ঘণ্টায় যে ৩৫ জন মারা গেছেন তাদের মধ্যে নারী ১৯ জন এবং পুরুষ ১৬ জন। এ সময়ের মধ্যে ঢাকা বিভাগে ১৯ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। চট্টগ্রাম বিভাগে ৬ জন মারা গেছেন। রাজশাহীতে ৩ খুলনায় ৩, বরিশালে ১, সিলেটে ২ ও রংপুরে ১ জন মারা গেছেন।
এর আগে শুক্রবার ৩৮, বৃহস্পতিবার ৫১ বুধবার ৫১, মঙ্গলবার ৩৫, সোমবার ৪১ ও রোববার ৫১ জনের মৃত্যু হয়।
গত বছরের ৮ মার্চ দেশে প্রথম ৩ জনের দেহে করোনাভাইরাস শনাক্ত হয়। এর ১০ দিন পর ওই বছরের ১৮ মার্চ দেশে এ ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে প্রথম একজনের মৃত্যু হয়।
