করোনাভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে দেশে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ৩৮ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এ নিয়ে মোট মৃতের সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে ২৭ হাজার ১৪৭ জনে।
২৪ ঘণ্টায় নতুন করে করোনা শনাক্ত হয়েছে ১ হাজার ৯০৭ জনের। এতে মোট শনাক্ত রোগীর সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে ১৫ লাখ ৪০ হাজার ১১০ জনে।
শুক্রবার স্বাস্থ্য অধিদফতর থেকে পাঠানো করোনাবিষয়ক নিয়মিত সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এসব তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে।
এর আগে বৃহস্পতিবার ৫১ বুধবার ৫১, মঙ্গলবার ৩৫, সোমবার ৪১, রোববার ৫১ ও শনিবার ৪৮ জনের মৃত্যু হয়।
গত বছরের ৮ মার্চ দেশে প্রথম ৩ জনের দেহে করোনাভাইরাস শনাক্ত হয়। এর ১০ দিন পর ওই বছরের ১৮ মার্চ দেশে এ ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে প্রথম একজনের মৃত্যু হয়।
