এর আগে জানা গেছে, টি-টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপের আগে প্রস্তুতির জন্য ‘এ’ দলের হয়ে একদিনের ম্যাচের সিরিজের প্রথম দুই ম্যাচে খেলবেন মুশফিকুর রহিম। তার সঙ্গে এ-দলে আরও কয়েকজনকে যুক্ত করা হবে।
‘এ’ দল এবং এইচপি দল নিজেদের মধ্যে দুটি চার দিনের ও তিনটি এক দিনের ম্যাচ খেলবে। দ্বিতীয়টি চার দিনের ম্যাচটি শুরু হবে ২৩ সেপ্টেম্বর থেকে। এক দিনের ম্যাচগুলো হবে ৩০ সেপ্টেম্বর, ২ ও ৪ অক্টোবর।
