আগামী ১৭ অক্টোবর থেকে শুরু হচ্ছে টি-টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপ। পর্দা নামবে ১৪ নভেম্বর। এর মাত্র চারদিন পরই পাকিস্তানের বিপক্ষে টি-টোয়েন্টি সিরিজে মাঠে নামবে বাংলাদেশ। বিশ্বকাপের পর তিন টি-টোয়েন্টি আর টেস্ট চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপের দুই টেস্ট খেলতে বাংলাদেশে আসবেন বাবর আজমরা।
২০১৬ এশিয়া কাপের পর প্রথমবারের মতো বাংলাদেশে আসছে পাকিস্তান ক্রিকেট দল। দুই টেস্টের প্রথমটি হবে চট্টগ্রামের জহুর আহমেদ চৌধুরী স্টেডিয়ামে। পরেরটি মিরপুরের শেরে বাংলা জাতীয় ক্রিকেট স্টেডিয়ামে। এই সিরিজ দিয়েই টেস্ট চ্যাম্পিনশিপের দ্বিতীয় আসরের যাত্রা শুরু হবে মুমিনুল হকদের।
পাকিস্তানের বিপক্ষে টেস্ট সিরিজের আগে অবশ্য হবে টি-টোয়েন্টি সিরিজ। ৩ টি-টোয়েন্টির সবকটি হবে মিরপুরে। প্রথমটি হবে আগামী ১৯ নভেম্বর। ২০ ও ২২ নভেম্বর হবে পরের ২ ম্যাচ।
২৬ থেকে ৩০ নভেম্বর চট্টগ্রামের জহুর আহমেদ চৌধুরী স্টেডিয়ামে হবে প্রথম টেস্ট। ৪ থেকে ৮ ডিসেম্বর মিরপুরের শেরে বাংলা জাতীয় ক্রিকেট স্টেডিয়ামে হবে দ্বিতীয় টেস্ট।
