পটুয়াখালীর গলাচিপা ২০২১-২০২২ অর্থ বছরে বয়স্কভাতা, বিধবা, স্বামী পরিত্যক্তা ভাতা শতভাগের আওতায় নিশ্চিত হয়।এই শতভাগ ভাতা নিশ্চিত করণে গত১৬ আগষ্ট গলাচিপা উপজেলা পরিষদ মিলনায়তনে উপজেলা সমাজসেবা অফিসের আয়োজনে স্থানীয় সংসদ সদস্য ,উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান,উপজেলা আওয়ামীলীগ, উপজেলা সকল সরকারি বেসরকারি কর্মকর্তা, সকল ইউনিয়নের চেয়ারম্যান নিয়ে বিভিন্ন ধরণের পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করা হয়। তার মধ্যে পৌরসভায়, প্রতিটি ইউনিয়নে মাইকিং করে নিবন্ধন প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন করার জন্য উদ্ধুদ্ধকরণ। এছাড়া ও নিবন্ধন প্রক্রিয়ার সহায়তার জন্য প্রতি ইউনিয়ন থেকে দুই জন করে লোক এনে তাদেরকে প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া।
এর ধারাবাহিকতায় মঙ্গলবার সকাল ১০টায় পৌরসভার ১নং ওয়ার্ডে পৌর আওয়ামীলীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক আবিদ হাসান রুবেলের অফিসে নিবন্ধন প্রক্রিয়া সহায়তা ক্যাম্প উদ্বোধন করেন উপজেলা পরিষদ চেয়ারম্যান মুহম্মদ সাহিন। এ সময় উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান মুহম্মদ সাহিন গলাচিপা উপজেলাকে শতভাগ ভাতা নিশ্চিত করণের আওতায় আনার জন্য প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা জ্ঞাপন করেন।
