শরীয়তপুর প্রতিনিধিঃ দ্রব্যমূল্য নিয়ন্ত্রণ, খাদ্যে ভেজাল রোধ ও ভোক্তা-অধিকার বিরোধী কার্যক্রম প্রতিরোধের লক্ষ্যে নিয়মিত তদারকির অংশ হিসেবে আজ ২৩ মে ২০২১ তারিখ শরীয়তপুর জেলার নড়িয়া উপজেলার ভোজেস্বর বাজারে মনিটরিং অভিযান পরিচালিত হয়।
অভিযানে নিত্যপ্রয়োজনীয় পণ্যের দোকান, কাচাবাজার, খাবার হোটেল ও খাদ্যপণ্য প্রক্রিয়াকরণ প্রতিষ্ঠান পরিদর্শন করা হয়। এসময় অবৈধ প্রক্রিয়ায় চা পাতা প্রক্রিয়াকরণ করা ও পণ্যের মোড়কে যথাযথ তথ্য না দেয়ায় মেসার্স রতন টি হাউসকে ভোক্তা অধিকার সংরক্ষণ আইন, ২০০৯ অনুযায়ী মোট ১২,০০০/- (বার হাজার) টাকা সতর্কতামূলক প্রশাসনিক জরিমানা আরোপ করা হয়। এছাড়া করোনা ভাইরাস সংক্রমণ প্রতিরোধে উপস্থিত জনসাধারণ মাস্ক পরিধান সহ স্বাস্থ্যবিধি অনুসরণ করতে সচেতন করা হয়।
জাতীয় ভোক্তা-অধিকার সংরক্ষণ অধিদপ্তরের সহকারী পরিচালক জনাব সুজন কাজীর নেতৃত্বে পরিচালিত এই অভিযানে উপস্থিত থেকে সহযোগিতা করেন কনজ্যুমারস অ্যাসোসিয়েশন অব বাংলাদেশ (ক্যাব) এর শরীয়তপুর জেলা শাখার সভাপতি জনাব মোঃ বিল্লাল হোসেন খান ও শরীয়তপুর জেলা পুলিশের একটি টিম।
