গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় করোনাভাইরাস শনাক্ত হয়েছে ১০২ জনের। এ নিয়ে চট্টগ্রামে মোট আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা দাঁড়ালো ৫১ হাজার ৬০১ জন। এসময়ে করোনায় মারা গেছেন ২ জন।
বৃহস্পতিবার (১৩ মে) সকালে সিভিল সার্জন কার্যালয় থেকে প্রকাশিত প্রতিবেদন সূত্রে এসব তথ্য জানা যায়। গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় চট্টগ্রামের ৮টি সরকারি-বেসরকারি ল্যাবে ৬৯১টি নমুনা পরীক্ষা করা হয়।
এর মধ্যে বাংলাদেশ ইনস্টিটিউট অব ট্রপিক্যাল অ্যান্ড ইনফেকশাস ডিজিজেস (বিআইটিআইডি) ল্যাবে ২৫৪টি, চট্টগ্রাম মেডিক্যাল কলেজ (চমেক) ল্যাবে ৬১টি, চট্টগ্রাম মা ও শিশু হাসপাতাল ল্যাবে ২০টি, জেনারেল হাসপাতালের রিজিওনাল টিবি রেফারেল ল্যাবরেটরিতে (আরটিআরএল) ৪৬টি, চট্টগ্রাম ভেটেরিনারি অ্যান্ড অ্যানিম্যাল সায়েন্সেস বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (সিভাসু) ল্যাবে ১৫৯টি, কক্সবাজার মেডিক্যাল কলেজ ল্যাবে ৬৫টি, বেসরকারি ইম্পেরিয়াল হাসপাতাল ল্যাবে ৭৬টি এবং মেডিক্যাল সেন্টার হাসপাতাল ল্যাবে ১০টি নমুনা পরীক্ষা করা হয়।
এতে বিআইটিআইডি ল্যাবে ১৫ জন, চমেক ল্যাবে ১৫ জন, ভেটেরিনারি ল্যাবে ২২ জন, কক্সবাজার মেডিক্যাল ল্যাবে ৩ জন, ইম্পেরিয়াল ল্যাবে ১৯ জন, মা ও শিশু হাসপাতাল ল্যাবে ৬ জন, আরটিআরএল-এ ২০ জন, মেডিক্যাল সেন্টার ল্যাবে ২ জন করোনাভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত রোগী শনাক্ত হয়েছে।
এদিন চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ল্যাব ও শেভরণ ক্লিনিক্যাল ল্যাবরেটরিতে নমুনা পরীক্ষা করা হয়নি।
চট্টগ্রামের সিভিল সার্জন ডা. সেখ ফজলে রাব্বি জানান, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টার নমুনা পরীক্ষায় ১০২ জনের করোনা শনাক্ত হয়েছে। নমুনা পরীক্ষা করা হয়েছে ৬৯১ জনের। নতুন আক্রান্তদের মধ্যে নগরে ৮৭ জন এবং উপজেলায় ১৫ জন। করোনাভাইরাসে নগরে ১ জন এবং উপজেলায় ১ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এ পর্যন্ত মোট মৃত্যু হয়েছে ৫৭৫ জনের।
