বরগুনার বুড়ীশ্বর নদীতে এবার জেলের জালে ধরা পড়েছে ২ কেজি ৫০০ গ্রাম ওজনের রূপালী ইলিশ।
শনিবার বেলা ১২টার দিকে আনোয়ার হোসেন নামে এক পাইকার ৩ হাজার ১৮০ টাকায় ইলিশ মাছটি ক্রয় করেন।
আনোয়ার হোসেন বলেন, এই মৌসুমে ১ কেজি ৬০০ গ্রাম ওজনের ইলিশ ইতোপূর্বে তিনি কিনেছেন। নিলামে ৩ হাজার ১৮০ টাকায় ক্রয় করা ইলিশ তিনি আরও বেশি দামে বিক্রি করার আশা করছেন।
শুক্রবার মধ্যরাতে তালতলী উপজেলার ছোটবগী ইউনিয়নের তালুকদার পাড়ার জেলে আকব্বর মাঝি অন্যদিনের মত নদীতে জাল ফেলেন। শুক্রবার সকালে জালে ধরা পড়ে ২ কেজি ৫০০ গ্রাম ওজনের রূপালী ইলিশ। বেলা ৯টার দিকে মাছ বিক্রির জন্য তালতলী বাজারে নিয়ে এলে দ্রুত এই মাছের খবর ছড়িয়ে পড়ে। অনেকে মাছটি একনজর দেখার জন্য আসতে থাকেন।
আকব্বর মাঝি বলেন, জীবনে এতো বড় ইলিশ আর পাইনি। খুব খুশি লাগছে।
তালতলী উপজেলা মৎস্য কর্মকর্তা বলেন, ৬৫ দিন ইলিশ না ধরার অবরোধের ফল এটি। বুড়ীশ্বর নদীতে এ ধরনের ইলিশ আরও পাওয়া যাবে বলেও আশা করেন তিনি।
