উল্লেখ্য: জাতীর জনক বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের ছোট ছেলে শেখ রাসেল এর নামে মিনি স্টেডিয়াম স্থাপনের জন্য সরকারী ভাবে জমি অধিগ্রহনের সন্ধান চলছিল।এরই মধ্যে সরকার স্টেডিয়ামের উন্নয়ন কাজে ৫ কোটি ৭০ লক্ষ টাকা বরাদ্দ দেয়।দীর্ঘদিন ধরে জমি না পাওয়ায় স্থানীয় সংসদ সদস্য ও বিমান প্রতিমন্ত্রী এড.মাহবুব আলী ও উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান আলহাজ্ব আব্দুল কাদির লস্করের পরামর্শক্রমে রাজার বাজারে খোয়াই স্টেডিয়ামের সাথে ২২৮ শতক জমি সনজু চৌধুরীর পৈত্রিক সম্পদ হওয়ায় তিনি দান করে দেন।এবং জমি রেজিষ্ট্রি করার সরকারী ফি বাবদ নগদ ৭৫ হাজার টাকাও পরিশোধ করেন।
