সোমবার (৩ মে) দুপুরবেলা উপজেলার ৫ নং করাব ইউনিয়নে ইউনিয়ন পরিষদ প্রাঙ্গনে প্রধানমন্ত্রীর পক্ষ থেকে ৫০ জনকে ৫০০ টাকা করে উপহার প্রদান করেন
লাখাই উপজেলা সহকারী কমিশনার (ভূমি) মোঃ ইয়াছিন আরাফাত রানা, এসময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন করাব ইউপি চেয়ারম্যান ইন্জিনিয়ার আব্দুল হাই কামাল ও স্থানীয় জনপ্রতিনিধিগন।
উল্লেখ্য, ইতোমধ্যে লাখাই উপজেলার ২ ও ৫ নং ইউনিয়নে প্রধানমন্ত্রীর উপহার সামগ্রী প্রদান করা হয়েছে এবং উপজেলার অবশিষ্ট ১, ৩, ৪ ও ৬ নং ইউনিয়নে মুজিব শতবর্ষ উপলক্ষে প্রধানমন্ত্রীর উপহার সামগ্রী প্রদান করা হবে।
