নারায়ণগঞ্জে করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ছয়জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এ সময় আক্রান্ত হয়েছে আরও ১৭৭ জন।
রোববার সকালে নারায়ণগঞ্জ সিভিল সার্জন ডা. মোহাম্মদ ইমতিয়াজ এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন।
তিনি বলেন, নারায়ণগঞ্জ সিটি করপোরেশন এলাকায় ৭০ বছর বয়সের এক নারী ও সোনারগাঁও এলাকায় ৩০, ৬০ ও ৬৫ বছর বয়স্ক তিন নারী এবং বন্দরে ৪৮ বছর বয়সের এক নারী ও ৬০ বছর বয়সের এক পুরুষের মৃত্যু হয়েছে।
জেলায় আক্রান্তের হার ১৮ দশমিক ৪২ শতাংশ।
গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় নমুনা পরীক্ষা করা হয়েছে ৯৬১ জনের। এর মধ্যে নারায়ণগঞ্জ সিটি করপোরেশন এলাকায় ৬৮, সদর উপজেলার ৩৭, বন্দরের ২১, রূপগঞ্জের ২৮, সোনারগাঁওয়ে ৯ এবং আড়াইহাজার উপজেলায় ১৪ জনের দেহে করোনা শনাক্ত হয়েছে। এ নিয়ে নারায়ণগঞ্জে করোনায় মারা গেছেন ২৭৮ জন।
