উত্তর বঙ্গোপসাগর এবং এর কাছাকাছি মধ্য বঙ্গোপসাগর এলাকায় লঘুচাপের সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। এতে দেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলসমূহের ওপর দিয়ে দক্ষিণ অথবা দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব দিক থেকে ঘণ্টায় ৪৫ থেকে ৬০ কিলোমিটার বেগে বৃষ্টি অথবা বজ্রবৃষ্টিসহ অস্থায়ীভাবে দমকা অথবা ঝড়ো হাওয়া বয়ে যেতে পারে। এসব এলাকার নদীবন্দর সমূহকে ১ নম্বর সতর্ক সংকেত দেখিয়ে যেতে বলা হয়েছে।
শুক্রবার সকাল থেকে পরবর্তী ২৪ ঘণ্টার আবহাওয়ার পূর্বাভাসে এ কথা বলা হয়েছে। খবর বাসসের।
আবহাওয়া অফিস জানায়, বরিশাল, চট্টগ্রাম ও সিলেট বিভাগের অনেক জায়গায় এবং রাজশাহী, রংপুর, ঢাকা, ময়মনসিংহ ও খুলনা বিভাগের কিছু কিছু জায়গায় অস্থায়ীভাবে দমকা হাওয়াসহ হালকা থেকে মাঝারি ধরনের বৃষ্টি অথবা বজ্রসহ বৃষ্টি হতে পারে। সেই সঙ্গে দেশের কোথাও কোথাও বিক্ষিপ্তভাবে মাঝারি ধরনের ভারি থেকে অতি ভারি বর্ষণ হতে পারে।
শুক্রবার দেশের অভ্যন্তরীণ নদী বন্দর সমূহের জন্য আবহাওয়ার পূর্বাভাসে বলা হয়েছে, ফরিদপুর, মাদারীপুর, খুলনা, বরিশাল, পটুয়াখালী, নোয়াখালী, কুমিল্লা, চট্টগ্রাম এবং কক্সবাজার অঞ্চল সমূহের উপর দিয়ে দক্ষিণ অথবা দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব দিক থেকে ঘণ্টায় ৪৫ থেকে ৬০ কিলোমিটার বেগে বৃষ্টি অথবা বজ্রবৃষ্টিসহ অস্থায়ীভাবে দমকা অথবা ঝড়ো হাওয়া বয়ে যেতে পারে। এসব এলাকার নদীবন্দর সমূহকে ১ নম্বর সতর্ক সংকেত দেখাতে বলা হয়েছে।
পরবর্তী তিন দিনের শেষের দিকে বৃষ্টিপাতের প্রবণতা বাড়তে পারে।
শুক্রবার সকাল ৬টা পর্যন্ত গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় নিকলিতে সর্বোচ্চ ২৯ মিলিমিটার বৃষ্টি হয়েছে। এ ছাড়া মাইজদিকোর্টে ১৫ মিলিমিটার বৃষ্টি হয়। এ সময় ঢাকায় ১৪ মিলিমিটার বৃষ্টি হয় বলে জানিয়েছে আবহাওয়া অফিস।
এছাড়া সারা দেশে দিন এবং রাতের তাপমাত্রা প্রায় অপরিবর্তিত থাকতে পারে।
গত বৃহস্পতিবার ফেনীতে সর্বোচ্চ তাপমাত্রা ছিল ৩৬ দশমিক শূন্য ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস। রাঙ্গামাটিতে সর্বনিম্ন তাপমাত্রা ২৫ দশমিক শূন্য ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস রেকর্ড করা হয়েছে। ঢাকায় গতকাল সর্বোচ্চ তাপমাত্রা ছিল ৩২ দশমিক শূন্য ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস। ঢাকায় সর্বনিম্ন তাপমাত্রা ২৬ দশমিক ৯ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস রেকর্ড করা হয়।
পূর্বাভাসে আরও বলা হয়, মৌসুমি বায়ুর অক্ষের বাড়তি অংশ রাজস্থান, মধ্য প্রদেশ, উত্তর প্রদেশ, বিহার, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ এবং বাংলাদেশের মধ্যাঞ্চল হয়ে আসাম পর্যন্ত বিস্তৃত রয়েছে। এর একটি বাড়তি অংশ উত্তর বঙ্গোপসাগর পর্যন্ত বিস্তৃত। মৌসুমি বায়ু বাংলাদেশের ওপর মোটামুটি সক্রিয় এবং উত্তর বঙ্গোপসাগরে মাঝারি অবস্থায় রয়েছে।
