মাদারীপুরের কালকিনি থানা পুলিশের বিশেষ অভিযানে বিভিন্ন মামলার ওয়ারেন্টভুক্ত ০৬ জন আসামীকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে। কালকিনি থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ জনাব ইশতিয়াক আশফাক রাসেল এর নেতৃত্ত্বে এস.আই (নিঃ) সুমন কুমার আইচ, এস.আই (নিঃ) দিবাকর সরকার, এস.আই (নিঃ) কাঞ্চন মিয়া, এ.এস.আই (নিঃ) জাকির হোসেন, এ.এস.আই (নিঃ) বাবুল হোসেন, এ.এস.আই (নিঃ) শাহ আলম কালকিনি থানার বিভিন্ন এলাকায় মাদক উদ্ধার ও গ্রেফতারী পরোয়ানা তামিলের বিশেষ অভিযান পরিচালনা করে জিআর-০৫ টি ও জিআর সাজা (দুই বছরের সাজা)- ০১ টি, সর্বমোট ০৬ টি মামলার ওয়ারেন্টভুক্ত ০৬ জন আসামীকে গ্রেফতার করেন এবং বিধি মোতাবেক উক্ত আসামীদের বিজ্ঞ আদালতে প্রেরণ করা হয়।
এ ব্যাপারে কালকিনি থানার ওসি ইশতিয়াক আশফাক রাসেল বলেন, আসামীদের গ্রেফতারে আমাদের এ কার্যক্রম অব্যাহত থাকবে।
