ময়মনসিংহ মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালের করোনা ইউনিটে করোনা ও উপসর্গ নিয়ে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় নতুন করে আরও ৯ জন মারা গেছেন। এদের মধ্যে ৩ জন করোনা শনাক্ত হয়ে এবং ৬ জন উপসর্গ নিয়ে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় মারা যান।
বৃহস্পতিবার (২২ জুলাই) সকাল পৌনে ১০টায় মমেক হাসপাতালের করোনা ইউনিটের মুখপাত্র ডা. মহিউদ্দিন খান মুন এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেন। করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে মারা যাওয়া ব্যক্তিরা হলেন, ময়মনসিংহের সদরের সুমনা (৩৫), ত্রিশালের আব্দুল মজিদ (৭০) ও মনির হোসেন (৩২)। এই সময়ের মধ্যে উপসর্গ নিয়ে মারা যাওয়া ব্যক্তিরা হলেন, ময়মনসিংহ সদরের এমদাদুল হক (৫০), রমেসা বেগম (১০০), ত্রিশালের সামাদ মিয়া (৯০), নেত্রকোনার বারহাট্টার ফজরুনেসা (৬০), জামালপুর সদরের রাজিয়া বেগম (৮৫) ও মাদারগঞ্জের মেরি (৫০)।ডা. মহিউদ্দিন খান মুন আরও জানান, ময়মনসিংহ মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালের করোনা ইউনিটে বর্তমানে ৩শ ৭৯ জন রোগী ভর্তি আছেন৷
এর মধ্যে আইসিইউতে রয়েছেন ২২ জন রোগী। নতুন ভর্তি হয়েছেন ৩২ জন, সুস্থ হয়ে বাড়ি ফিরেছেন ৯ জন।
