ভৈরবে একটি অফিস রোমের তালা ভেংগে প্রবাল (২২) নামে এক যুবকের মরদেহ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ। সে রায়পুরার মুছাপুর ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান ও মাতৃকা (প্রাঃ) হাসপাতালের মালিক হোসেন ভুইয়ার ছেলে। আজ মঙ্গলবার সন্ধা সাড়ে সাতটার সময় দুর্জয় মোড়ের সরদার হোটেলের নিচতলায় তালাবদ্ধ সাকিল মটরস অফিসের ভেতর থেকে পুলিশ প্রবালের মরদেহ উদ্ধার করে। ঘটনার পর পর সরদার হোটেলের সমস্ত ব্যাবসা প্রতিষ্টানে তালা দিয়ে ব্যবসায়ীরা চলে যায়।
নাম প্রকাশে অনিচ্ছুক স্থানিয়রা জানায়, অন্তরকে তার পরিধেয় রক্তমাখা জামা ও ধারালো অস্ত্র হাতে দৌড়ে পালিয়ে যেতে দেখা গেছে। প্রবালকে অন্তরই হত্যা করে থাকতে পারে। তবে কি কারণে প্রবালকে খুন করা হয়েছে তা কেউ বলতে পারেনি।
প্রবালের স্বজনরা জানান, প্রতিদিনের ন্যায় প্রবাল দুপুরের খাবার খেয়ে বাসা থেকে বের হয়ে যায়। লোকমুখে খবর পেয়ে মরদেহ দেখে প্রবালের লাশ সনাক্ত করি।
ভৈরব থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ মো: শাহিন জানান, আমরা জানতে পারি আজ বিকেলে দূৃজয় মোড়ে একটি মারামারি হয়েছে। সে সুত্র ধরে আমরা একটি দোকানের সাটার ভেঙ্গে একজন যুবকের মৃতদেহ দেখতে পাই। পরে এর নাম জানতে পারি। এ হত্যার সাথে অন্তরের সংশ্লিষ্টতা থাকতে পারে বলে ধরনা করছি। অন্তরকে গ্রেফতারের চেষ্টা চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে পুলিশ।
