এম আবু হেনা সাগর,ঈদগাঁও: গত কয়েকদিনের প্রচন্ড তাপদাহে জনজীবন বিপর্যস্থ ও দুর্বিসহ হয়ে উঠেছে ঈদগাঁওর জন জীবন। ঘরের ভেতরে শিশু কিশোরসহ নর নারী রাও হিমশিম খাচ্ছে গরমে।
তীব্র গরমে পুড়ছে জনপদ, মাঠ-ঘাট ও শষ্যের ক্ষেত। কোথাও স্বস্তির বাতাস নেই। সর্বত্র গরম আর গরম,কখনও প্রচন্ড,আবার কখন ভ্যাপসা গরম। বৈশাখী তান্ডব চলছে জনপদে, সূর্যের প্রখরতা ক্রমান্বয়ে বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। সকাল পার হতে না হতেই সড়ক,বাজার লোক শুন্য হচ্ছে। একটু প্রশান্তির ছোঁয়ায় অস্থির মানুষ। অসহনীয় তাপ আর রৌদ্রযন্ত্রনা। ফসলের মাঠ ফেটে চৌচির, বীজতলা শুকিয়ে যাচ্ছে।
চারিদিকে কেবল গরম আর গরম। যেই গরমে কেবলমাত্র জনজীবনেই অস্থিরতা আনছেনা, নানা ধরনের গরমজনিতসহ পানি বাহিত রোগ ছড়িয়ে পড়ছে। ঈদগাঁওর প্রত্যান্ত গ্রামাঞ্চলে শিশু কিশোরসহ বয়োবৃদ্ব নর-নারীদের মাঝেও জ্বর,কাশি,সর্দি,ডায়রিয়ার বিশেষ প্রকোপ দেখা দিয়েছে।
প্রচন্ড গরম আর তাপদাহে জনজীবন বর্তমান সময় হাঁসফাঁস করছে। গরমে অসহনীয় যন্ত্রনায় অতিষ্ঠ জনজীবন। কক্সবাজার সদরের ঈদগাঁও বাজার ঘুরে দেখা যায়, প্রচন্ড গরমে ইলেক্ট্রনিক্স দোকানে ফ্যান বিক্রির হিড়িক বেড়েছে।
এ গরমে সাধারন মানুষ ঘর থেকে বের না হলেও
নিন্ম আয়ের লোকজন গরমের মাঝেও পরিবার পরিজনের জন্য খাবারের সন্ধানে ছুটছেই তারা। যুবক মারুফ জানান, সূয্যের প্রচন্ড তাপ,কাজের সন্ধানে বের হওয়া কষ্টকর হচ্ছে।
টমটম চালক কাসেম জানান, অতি গরমে যান বাহন চালানো যাচ্ছেনা। যাত্রীর সংখ্যাও কম। দিনের অর্ধের সময় গাড়ী চালালেও বাকী সময় বাড়ীতে অবস্থান করছি। করার কিছুই নেই।
