রাসেল আহমেদ সাজিদ, নাটোর প্রতিনিধিঃ নাটোর-ঢাকা মহাসড়কের হয়বতপুরে বাস চাপায় এক পথচারী নিহত হয়েছেন। তার বয়স আনুমানিক ৪৫। তবে এখন পর্যন্ত নিহতের পরিচয় উদ্ধার করতে পারেনি পুলিশ।
রোববার(১৬ মে) রাত সাড়ে ৭টায় হয়বতপুর বাজারে এ দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে।
ঝলমলিয়া হাইওয়ের থানার ইনচার্জ রেজোয়ানুল ইসলাম জানান, রাত সাড়ে ৭টায় এক পথচারী দৌড় দিয়ে রাস্তা পার হওয়ার সময় সিরাজগঞ্জমুখী দ্রুতগামী একটি বাস তাকে চাপা দেয়। এসময় ঘটনাস্থলেই ওই পথচারী নিহত হন। পরে হাইওয়ে পুলিশ গিয়ে ঘটনাস্থল থেকে মরদেহ উদ্ধার করে। ঘাতক বাসটিকে আটক করা সম্ভব হয়নি। নিহতের পরিচয় উদ্ধারের চেষ্টা চলছে।
