নাটোর প্রতিনিধিঃ নাটোরের গুরুদাসপরের নাজিরপুর ইউনিয়নের লক্ষীকোল গ্রামের সাইফুল ইসলাম সজিব (২৮) নামের এক শিক্ষানবীস আইনজীবিকে ঈদের নামাজের টাকা তোলাকে কেন্দ্র করে কুপিয়ে গুরুতর জখম করেছে প্রতিপক্ষরা।
স্থানীয় সুত্রে জানাযায়,গুরুদাসপরের নাজিরপুর ইউনিয়নের লক্ষীকোল গ্রামে মসজিদে টাকা তোলা না তোলার ব্যাপারে স্থানীয় ইসমাইল মেম্বরের সাথে বাগবিতন্ড সৃষ্টি হয় আইনজীবি সাইফুল ইসলাম সজিবের সাথে। বাগবিতন্ডের এক পর্যায়ে ইসমাইল মেম্বর ও তার সর্মথকরা সাইফুল ইসলামের উপর দেশীয় অস্ত্র নিয়ে হামলা চালিয়ে তাকে নির্মমভাবে কুপিয়ে জখম করে। পরে স্থানীয়রা তাকে গুরুদাসপুর স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে ভর্তি করেন। আহত সাইফুল ইসলাম নাটোর জজকোর্টে শিক্ষানবীস আইনজীবি হিসাবে কর্তব্যরত রয়েছেন বলে জানাযায়।
গুরুদাসপুর স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সের জরুরী বিভাগের ডাক্তার সঞ্চিতা সরকার জানান, তার মাথায় গুরুতর আঘাতে চিহ্ন পাওয়া গেছে। ক্ষতস্থানে চারটি সেলাই দেওয়া হয়েছে। সে বর্তমানে মেডিক্যালে ভর্তি রয়েছেন।
গুরুদাসপুর থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) মোঃ আব্দুর রাজ্জাক ঘটনার সত্যতা নিশ্চিত করে জানান,ঘটনা শোনার পর ওই স্থানে দ্রত পুলিশ পাঠিয়ে পরিস্থিতি শান্ত করেছি। তবে এখন পর্যন্ত কোন লিখিত অভিযোগ পাইনি। অভিযোগ পেলে আইনগত ব্যাবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে।
