সিলেট বিভাগে ২৪ ঘণ্টায় করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে কারো মৃত্যু হয়নি। তবে গত একবছরে করোনায় মারা যান ৩১৪ জন। আর গত ২৪ ঘন্টায় আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন ১৩৬ জন। যার মধ্যে ৮৩ জনই সিলেটের। আর একই সময়ে চিকিৎসা নিয়ে সুস্থ হয়েছেন ১০৫ জন। মঙ্গলবার (২০ এপ্রিল) স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের সিলেট বিভাগীয় পরিচালক ডা. সুলতানা রাজিয়া স্বাক্ষরিত এক প্রতিবেদনে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে।
প্রতিবেদনে উল্লেখ করা হয়, গেল ২৪ ঘন্টায় সিলেটের চারটি ল্যাবে নমুনা পরীক্ষায় ১৩৬ জন করোনা আক্রান্ত সনাক্ত হন। এর মধ্যে সিলেট জেলার ৮৩ জন, সুনামগঞ্জে ১১ জন, মৌলভীবাজারে ৬ জন, হবিগঞ্জে ১৭ জন, ওসমানী মেডিক্যালে আরও ১৯ জনের করোনা সনাক্ত হয়।
নতুন এই ১৩৬ জনসহ সিলেট বিভাগে করোনা প্রমাণিত রোগীর সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে ১৯ হাজার ৭০০ জন। এরমধ্যে শুধুমাত্র সিলেট জেলায় আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন ১২ হাজার ৫৩৫ জন। এছাড়া সুনামগঞ্জে ২ হাজার ৬৮৬ জন, হবিগঞ্জে ২ হাজার ২৫১ জন ও মৌলভীবাজারে ২ হাজার ২২৮ জনের করোনায় আক্রান্ত সনাক্ত হয়েছে।
গেল ২৪ ঘন্টায় সুস্থ হয়েছেন ১০৫ জন। এরমধ্যে সিলেটের ৯৯ জন, হবিগঞ্জের ১ জন, মৌলভীবাজারের ৫ জন। আর এ নিয়ে সুস্থ হওয়ার সংখ্যা দাঁড়ালো ১৭ হাজার ৬৫০ জন। এর মধ্যে সিলেট জেলার ১১ হাজার ২৭২ জন। এছাড়া এখন পর্যন্ত সুনামগঞ্জে ২ হাজার ৫৭৭ জন, হবিগঞ্জে ১ হাজার ৭৬৯ জন ও মৌলভীবাজারে ২ হাজার ৩২ জন সুস্থ হয়েছেন।
গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় সিলেট জেলায় হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন ১২ জন করোনা আক্রান্ত রোগী। সবিমিলিয়ে সিলেট বিভাগের বিভিন্ন হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন রয়েছেন ৩০৩ জন। এরমধ্যে সিলেট জেলায় ২৮৫ জন, সুনামগঞ্জে ৪ জন, হবিগঞ্জে ১৩ জন, মৌলভীবাজারে ১ জন।
গত এবছরে সিলেট বিভাগে করোনায় মৃতের সংখ্যা বেড়ে দাঁড়ালো ৩১৪ জনে। এর মধ্যে সিলেট জেলার ২৪৪ জন, সুনামগঞ্জে ২৬ জন, হবিগঞ্জে ১৮ জন ও মৌলভীবাজারের ২৬ জন রয়েছেন।
