মেহেরপুরে পাখিভ্যানের ধাক্কায় হাদিসুর(০৫) নামের এক শিশু নিহত হয়েছে।
মঙ্গলবার সকাল সাড়ে ১১ টার দিকে মেহেরপুর সদর উপজেলার খোকসা গ্রামে এ ঘটনা ঘটে।নিহত হাদিসুর ওই গ্রামের শেখ পাড়ার জসিরুল ইসলামের ছেলে।
স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা যায়, একটি পাখিভ্যান আমঝুপি থেকে গাড়াডোব যাবার পথে খোকশা শেখ পাড়ায় পৌঁছালে শিশু হাদিসুরকে ধাক্কা দেয়। হাদিসুর রাস্তায় ছিটকে পড়লে পাখি ভ্যানটি তাকে চাপা দেয়। এ ঘটনায় পাখি ভ্যানের চাকায় পিষ্ঠ হয়ে ঘটনাস্থলেই তার মৃত্যু হয়।
মেহেরপুর সদর থানার ওসি শাহ্-দারা-খান পিপিএম জানান, বিষয়টি আমার জানা নেই। ঘটনাস্থলে পুলিশ পাঠিয়ে খোঁজখবর নেওয়ার চেষ্টা করছি। পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে লিখিত অভিযোগ করলে ব্যবস্থা নেয়া হবে।
