বরগুনার পাথরঘাটায় মৃদুল (১৮) নামের একজনকে ৫ পিচ ইয়াবা সহ ১ আটক করেছে পাথরঘাটা থানা পুলিশ।
বৃহস্পতিবার (৯ সেপ্টেম্বর) সন্ধ্যা সাড়ে ৭টার দিকে উপজেলার কাকচিড়া ইউনিয়নে এসআই শওকত হোসেন নেতৃত্বে অভিযান চালায় সেসময় ৫ পিস ইয়াবা সহ মৃদুল আটক করেন।
এসআই শওকত হোসেন জানান, গোপন সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে জানতে পাড়ি উপজেলার কাকচিড়া ইউনিয়নে ইয়াবা বেচাকেনা হচ্ছে। সেই সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে অভিযান চালিয়ে ৫ পিস ইয়াবা ট্যাবলেট সহ একজনকে আটক করি । এ সময় তাকে ইয়াবা বহন ও বিক্রির অভিযোগে থানায় নিয়ে আসে।
এ বিষয় পাথরঘাটা থানা ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) মো. আবুল বাশার জানান, আটককৃত ওই যুবকের বিরুদ্ধে মাদক দ্রব্য নিয়ন্ত্রণ আইনে মামলা করা হয়েছে।
