বরগুনার পাথরঘাটায় ১৫০ পিস ইয়াবা সহ জসিম শিকদার (৩৫) নামে এক যুবককে আটক করেছে বরগুনার ডিবি পুলিশ।
বৃহস্পতিবার ভোর রাত পাথরঘাটা পৌরসভার ৯ নম্বর ওয়ার্ড থেকে ১৫০ পিস ইয়াবাসহ আটক করে। আটক জসিম শিকদার পৌরসভার ৯ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের মো. সত্তার শিকদার ছেলে।
বৃহস্পতিবার ভোর রাতে এস আই সুশীল ও এ এস আই শাহজাদার নেতৃত্বে জসিম শিকদার কে আটক করা হয়েছে।
ডিবি পুলিশের এসআই সুশীল কুমার দাস জানান, গোপন সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে বৃহস্পতিবার রাতে পাথরঘাটা পৌর শহরে অভিযান চালিয়ে জসিম সিকদারকে ১৫০ পিস ইয়াবাসহ আটক করে পাথরঘাটা থানায় সোপর্দ করা হয়েছে।
পাথরঘাটা থানা পুলিশ সূত্রে জানা যায় এর আগেও একাধিকবার মাদক সহ জসিম সিকদার পুলিশের হাতে আটক হয়েছে।
পাথরঘাটা থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা ওসি আবুল বাশার জানান, জসিম সিকদারকে মাদকদ্রব্য নিয়ন্ত্রণ আইনে মামলা দায়ের করা হয়ছে। বৃহস্পতিবার আদালতের মাধ্যমে কারাগারে পাঠানো হবে।
