রাজধানী ঢাকায় ঈদ জামাত ঘিরে বাড়তি নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছে ঢাকা মেট্রোপলিটন পুলিশ (ডিএমপি)। ঈদ জামাতে মুসল্লিদের স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে মসজিদে আসার জন্য অনুরোধ জানান ডিএমপি কমিশনার মো. শফিকুল ইসলাম।
সোমবার (২০ জুলাই) দুপুরে ডিএমপির মিডিয়া সেন্টারে ঈদ কেন্দ্রিক রাজধানীতে নিরাপত্তা নিয়ে সংবাদ সম্মেলনে তিনি এসব কথা জানান
ডিএমপি কমিশনার বলেন, ‘সবধরনের নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে। যেহেতু জাতীয় মসজিদ বায়তুল মোকাররমসহ মহানগরীর সকল মসজিদে ঈদ জামাত অনুষ্ঠিত হবে, তাই আমরা সেভাবে নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করেছি। মসজিদে মুসল্লিদের স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে আসার জন্য অনুরোধ করছি।’
