স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগের তথ্য অনুযায়ী, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় নতুন করে আরও ৩৬২ জনের শরীরে করোনাভাইরাস শনাক্ত হয়েছে। সিলেট বিভাগে একদিনে দ্বিতীয় সর্বোচ্চ শনাক্তের সংখ্যা এটি। এর আগের দিন মঙ্গলবার (৬ জুলাই) সর্বোচ্চ ৩৮৭ জনের করোনাভাইরাস শনাক্ত হয়।
নতুন শনাক্ত ৩৬২ জনের মধ্যে সিলেট জেলায় সর্বোচ্চ ১৬৫ জনের পজিটিভ ধরা পড়েছে। দ্বিতীয় সর্বোচ্চ মৌলভীবাজারে, ৯৪ জন। এছাড়া সুনামগঞ্জে ২৪ জন, হবিগঞ্জে ৩১ জন এবং সিলেটের এমএজি ওসমানী মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন আরও ৪৮ জনের শরীরে করোনা শনাক্ত হয়েছে।
এ বিভাগে এ পর্যন্ত করোনায় মোট আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে ২৭ হাজার ৭১৬ জন। এরমধ্যে সিলেটে ১৮ হাজার ২৭৬ জন, সুনামগঞ্জে তিন হাজার ১৫৭ জন, হবিগঞ্জে দুই হাজার ৯৫১ জন ও মৌলভীবাজারে তিন হাজার ৩৩২ জনের করোনা শনাক্ত হয়েছে।
গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় করোনামুক্ত হয়েছেন ১২৫ জন। তারমধ্যে সিলেট জেলার ১১৪, সুনামগঞ্জের ১০ ও হবিগঞ্জে একজন। আর এ পর্যন্ত সিলেট বিভাগে করোনামুক্ত হয়েছেন ২৪ হাজার ৩৪২ জন।
সিলেট বিভাগে সবমিলিয়ে করোনায় ৫০২ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এরমধ্যে সিলেট জেলায় ৪০৭ জন, সুনামগঞ্জে ৩৫ জন, হবিগঞ্জে ২২ জন এবং মৌলভীবাজারে ৩৮ জন রয়েছেন।
