গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় খুলনার হাসপাতালগুলোতে ২২ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এদের মধ্যে করোনা পজেটিভ ছিলেন ২১ জন এবং করোনার উপসর্গ নিয়ে মারা গেছেন ১ জন।
বুধবার সকালে খুলনার সরকারি ও বেসরকারি হাসপাতালের মুখপাত্ররা এই তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন।
মারা যাওয়া রোগীদের মধ্যে খুলনা করোনা ডেডিকেটেড হাসপাতালে ১০ জন, গাজী মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে ৫ জন ও জেনারেল হাসপাতালের করোনা ইউনিটে ৫ জন এবং শেখ আবু নাসের বিশেষায়িত হাসপাতালে ২জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে।
এর আগে মঙ্গলবার খুলনায় দ্বিতীয় সর্বোচ্চ ৪০ জনের মৃত্যু হয়। এদিন আক্রান্তের রেকর্ড গড়ে খুলনা। একদিনে সর্বোচ্চ ১৮৬৫ রোগী শনাক্ত হয় খুলনা বিভাগে। গতকালই খুলনায় করোনায় মৃত্যু ১৩ শ’ ছাড়িয়ে গেছে।
খুলনা বিভাগের মধ্যে প্রথম করোনা রোগী শনাক্ত হয় চুয়াডাঙ্গায় গত বছরের ১৯ মার্চ।
