নোয়াখালীর কোম্পানীগঞ্জ উপজেলার মুছাপুরে বজ্রপাতে ২ মহিষের মৃত্যু হয়েছে।
রবিবার (৬ই জুন) সকালে বৃষ্টিপাতেের সময় উপজেলার মুছাপুর ইউনিয়নের ৭নং ওয়ার্ডে এ ঘটনা ঘটে।
মহিষের মালিক কোম্পানীগঞ্জ উপজেলা প্রাণীসম্পদ অধিদপ্তরের ফিল্ড এ্যসিসট্যান্ট মোঃ এনায়েত উল্যাহ জানান, মহিষ গুলোকে ছোট ফেনী নদীর তীরে ঘাঁস খাওয়ার জন্য রেখে আসলে রবিবার সকালে ভারী বৃষ্টির সঙ্গে বজ্রপাতে ২টি মহিষ ঘটনা স্থলেই মারা যায়। মহিষ দুটির আনুমানিক বাজার মুল্য জানতে চাইলে মহিষের মালিক আমাদের বলেন, মহিষ দুটির বর্তমান বাজার মুল্য প্রায় ২৫০০০০ (দুই লাখ পঞ্চাশ হাজার টাকা)।
৭ নং মুছাপুর ইউনিয়ন পরিষদ চেয়ারম্যান নজরুল ইসলাম চৌধুরী শাহীনের মুঠোফোনে যোগাযোগ করলে তিনি ঘটনার সত্যতা নিশ্চিত করেন।
