ভাসানচরে আধিপত্য বিস্তারকে কেন্দ্র করে দু’দল রোহিঙ্গার সংঘর্ষের শিশুসহ চার জন আহত হয়েছে। এ ঘটনায় সিরাজুল ইসলাম নামে এক রোহিঙ্গার কব্জি কাটা পড়েছে। বুধবার সকালে এই সংঘর্ষের ঘটনা ঘটে।
আহতরা হলেন- সিরাজুল ইসলাম (৩৭), হাসমত উল্লাহ (২৫), আব্দুল মোতালেব (২০) ও সালামের মেয়ে আনিকা (৯ মাস)। আহতদের ভাসানচর হাসপাতালে প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা দিয়ে রাত ৯টার দিকে পুলিশ পাহারায় জেলা সদরে নোয়াখালী জেনারেল হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে।
নোয়াখালীর পুলিশ সুপার মো. আলমগীর হোসেন জানান, আধিপত্য বিস্তার ও পূর্ব শত্রুতার জেরে ভাসানচরের এক ক্লাস্টারের রোহিঙ্গারা অন্য ক্লাস্টারের রোহিঙ্গাদের সাথে প্রায়ই জগড়া-বিবাদে জড়াচ্ছে। ১১ নম্বর ক্লাস্টারের রোহিঙ্গা সিরাজ ও ১২ নম্বর ক্লাস্টারের আলমের মধ্যে আগের বিরোধ ছিল। বুধবার সকালে তাদের দুই পক্ষের মধ্যে সংঘর্ষ বেধে যায়। এক পর্যায়ে প্রতিপক্ষ ধারালো অস্ত্র দিয়ে কুপিয়ে সিরাজের ডান হাতের কব্জি ফেলে দেয়।
ভাসানচর থানার ওসি মাহে আলম জানান, এই ঘটনায় এখনও কোনো পক্ষ থানায় লিখিতি অভিযোগ দেয়নি। পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে রাখতে ঘটনাস্থলে পুলিশ মোতায়েন করা হয়েছে।
