নোয়াখালীর চাটখিল উপজেলার অন্যতম সামাজিক সংগঠন পাঁচগাঁও সোশ্যাল হেল্প অর্গানাইজেশন এর উদ্যোগে Goats For Gift প্রকল্পের ছাগল বিতরণ কার্যক্রম অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।
বুধবার ২জুন বিকেলে ব্লাক বেঙ্গল ছাগল বিতরণ করা হয়েছে পাঁচগাঁও সোশ্যাল হেল্প অর্গানাইজেশন এর অফিস ।
প্রাথমিক পর্যায়ে পাঁচগাঁও ইউনিয়নের অসহায়, এতিম, বিধবা ও সুবিধা বঞ্চিত ৫ টি পরিবার কে ২ টি করে মোট ১০ টি ব্লাক বেঙ্গল ছাগল পালনের মাধ্যমে অর্থনৈতিক অসচ্ছল মানুষ কে অর্থনৈতিক ভাবে স্বচ্ছল করে তোলা।
সংগঠনের সাধারণ সম্পাদক গোলাপ হোসেন ফরহাদ বলেন, এই প্রকল্প হচ্ছে গরিব দুঃখী পরিবার কে স্বাবলম্বী করার প্রকল্প, এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে প্রাথমিক ভাবে আমরা আমাদের পাঁচগাঁও ইউনিয়ন এর অসহায়, এতিম, বিধবা ও সুবিধা বঞ্চিত ৫টি পরিবার কে ২ টি ছাগল বিতরণ করা হয়েছে যাতে তারা নিজে স্বাবলম্বী হয়ে অন্য কেউ স্বাবলম্বী করতে পারে।
উক্ত কার্যক্রমে আরো উপস্থিত ছিলেন, সংগঠনের সভাপতি রফিকুল ইসলাম রনি, সহ-সভাপতি সাফায়েত হোসেন রুবেল, সাধারণ সম্পাদক গোলাপ হোসেন ফরহাদ, সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক কাইজার আহমেদ আবির সহ অন্যান্য সদস্যবৃন্দ।
