ভারতে আবারও বাড়ছে করোনার সংক্রমণ। তবে বিশ্বে করোনায় মৃত্যুর সংখ্যা কিছুটা কমেছে।
গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় সারা বিশ্বে করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে মারা গেছেন ছয় হাজার ৩৫৮ জনের বেশি। একই সময়ে ভাইরাসটিতে নতুন করে আক্রান্ত মানুষের সংখ্যা ছাড়িয়েছে ৩ লাখ ৭০ হাজার।
সর্বশেষ ২৪ ঘণ্টায় সবচেয়ে বেশি সংক্রমণের ঘটনা ঘটেছে ভারতে। একই সঙ্গে দৈনিক মৃত্যুতে শীর্ষে উঠে এসেছে ইন্দোনেশিয়া। এতে বিশ্বব্যাপী করোনায় আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা ছাড়িয়েছে ১৮ কোটি ৭৬ লাখের ঘর। অন্যদিকে মৃতের সংখ্যা ছাড়িয়েছে ৪০ লাখ ৪৮ হাজার।
সোমবার সকালে করোনাভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত, মৃত্যু ও সুস্থতার হিসাব রাখা ওয়েবসাইট ওয়ার্ল্ডোমিটারস থেকে পাওয়া সর্বশেষ তথ্যানুযায়ী, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় সারা বিশ্বে করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে মারা গেছেন ছয় হাজার ৩৫৮ জন। অর্থাৎ আগের দিনের তুলনায় মৃত্যু কমেছে প্রায় এক হাজার। এতে বিশ্বজুড়ে মৃতের সংখ্যা পৌঁছেছে ৪০ লাখ ৪৮ হাজার ৯১৯ জনে।
এ ছাড়া একই সময়ের মধ্যে ভাইরাসটিতে নতুন করে আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন তিন লাখ ৭০ হাজার ৫৪৬ জন। অর্থাৎ আগের দিনের তুলনায় নতুন শনাক্ত রোগীর সংখ্যা কমেছে ৫১ হাজারের বেশি। এতে মহামারির শুরু থেকে ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত মোট রোগীর সংখ্যা বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ১৮ কোটি ৭৬ লাখ ১৭ হাজার ৬৩৯ জনে।
গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় সবচেয়ে বেশি মৃত্যুর ঘটনা ঘটেছে দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব এশিয়ার দেশ ইন্দোনেশিয়ায়। এ সময়ের মধ্যে দেশটিতে করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে মারা গেছেন এক হাজার সাতজন এবং নতুন করে করোনাভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন ৩৬ হাজার ১৯৭ জন। অন্যদিকে মহামারির শুরু থেকে দেশটিতে মোট শনাক্ত রোগীর সংখ্যা ২৫ লাখ ২৭ হাজার ২০৩ জন এবং মৃত্যু হয়েছে ৬৬ হাজার ৪৬৪ জনের।
করোনাভাইরাসে সবচেয়ে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত দেশ যুক্তরাষ্ট্র। দেশটিতে এখন পর্যন্ত তিন কোটি ৪৭ লাখ ৩২ হাজার ৭৫৩ জন করোনায় আক্রান্ত এবং ছয় লাখ ২২ হাজার ৮৪৫ জন মারা গেছেন। লাতিন আমেরিকার দেশ ব্রাজিল করোনায় আক্রান্তের দিক থেকে তৃতীয় ও মৃত্যুর সংখ্যায় তালিকার দ্বিতীয় অবস্থানে রয়েছে।
গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় দেশটিতে করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে মারা গেছেন ৫৯৭ জন এবং নতুন করে করোনাভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন ২০ হাজার ৯৩৭ জন।
অপরদিকে মহামারির শুরু থেকে দেশটিতে মোট শনাক্ত রোগীর সংখ্যা এক কোটি ৯০ লাখ ৮৯ হাজার ৯৪০ জন এবং মৃত্যু হয়েছে পাঁচ লাখ ৩৩ হাজার ৫৪৬ জনের।
অন্যদিকে করোনায় আক্রান্তের তালিকায় দ্বিতীয় অবস্থানে রয়েছে প্রতিবেশী দেশ ভারত। তবে ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে মৃতের সংখ্যার তালিকায় দেশটির অবস্থান তৃতীয়।
গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় দেশটিতে করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে মারা গেছেন ৭২০ জন এবং নতুন করে করোনাভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন ৩৭ হাজার ৬৭৬ জন। দেশটিতে মোট আক্রান্ত তিন কোটি আট লাখ ৭৩ হাজার ৯০৭ জন এবং মারা গেছেন চার লাখ আট হাজার ৭৯২ জন।
এ ছাড়া এখন পর্যন্ত ফ্রান্সে ৫৮ লাখ ১২ হাজার ৬৩৯ জন, রাশিয়ায় ৫৭ লাখ ৮৩ হাজার ৩৩৩ জন, যুক্তরাজ্যে ৫১ লাখ ২১ হাজার ২৪৫ জন, ইতালিতে ৪২ লাখ ৭১ হাজার ২৭৬ জন, তুরস্কে ৫৪ লাখ ৮১ হাজার ৫৫৫ জন, স্পেনে ৩৯ লাখ ৩৭ হাজার ১৯২ জন, জার্মানিতে ৩৭ লাখ ৪৩ হাজার ৭১৩ জন এবং মেক্সিকোতে ২৫ লাখ ৮৬ হাজার ৭২১ জন করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন।
