নেছারাবাদ (পিরোজপুর) সংবাদদাতাঃ বঙ্গোপসাগরে সৃষ্ট ঘুর্নিঝড় ইয়াস মোকাবেলায় নেছারাবাদে দুর্যোগ প্রতিরোধ কমিটির এক ভার্চুয়ালি সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। রবিবার বিকেলে অনুষ্ঠিত ওই সভায় সভাপতিত্ব করেন দুর্যোগ প্রতিরোধ কমিটির সভাপতি ও উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান আব্দুল হক। দুর্য়োগ প্রতিরোধে উপজেলা প্রশাসন ব্যাপক পদক্ষেপ গ্রহন করেছে।
ইউএনও মো. মোশারেফ হোসেন বলেন, দুর্যোগ মোকাবেলায় উপজেলার সকল ইউনিয়নের সাইক্লোন শেল্টার ও বিভিন্ন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের দ্বিতল ভবন প্রস্তুত রাখা হয়েছে। আশ্রয় কেন্দ্রেগুলেতে শুকনো খাবার ও বিশুদ্ধ পানির ব্যবস্থাসহ উদ্ধার টিম প্রস্তুত রয়েছে। বন্যায় গাছপালা উপড়ে রাস্তাঘাট বন্ধ হলে তাৎক্ষনিকভাবে তা অপসারণের লক্ষে ইউনিয়ন চেয়ারম্যানদের স্বেচ্ছাসেবক টিম গঠন করে প্রস্তুত রাখার জন্য বলা হয়েছে। দুযোর্গ পরবর্তী ক্ষতিগ্রস্থদের পুর্নবাসনে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা গ্রহন করা হবে। এ লক্ষে উপজেলায় একটি কন্ট্রোল রুম খোলা হয়েছে।
