উত্তর সিলেটের সর্বোচ্চ বিদ্যাপীঠ গোয়াইনঘাট সরকারি কলেজ ক্যাম্পাসে বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচি পালন করেছে সামাজিক সংগঠন গোয়াইনঘাট মানব কল্যাণ সংঘ।
আজ শনিবার (১৮ সেপ্টেম্বর) সকাল সাড়ে ১১টায় সংগঠনের সভাপতি শাহানুর রহমানের সভাপতিত্বে বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচিতে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত গোয়াইনঘাট সরকারি কলেজের অধ্যক্ষ মোঃ ফজলুল হক। বৃক্ষরোপণকালে তিনি বলেন, “গাছের প্রয়োজনীয়তার কথা বলে শেষ করা যাবে না। গাছ রোপণের চেয়ে পরিচর্যার গুরুত্ব আরো বেশি। তোমরা যদি এই গাছগুলোর নিয়মিত পরিচর্যা করতে পারো, তাহলে অনেক সওয়াবেরও ভাগিদার হবে। এ সময় তিনি, সংগঠনের সবাইকে আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন জানান। ”
বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচিতে বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত গোয়াইনঘাট উপজেলা পরিষদের ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান মাওঃ গোলাম আম্বিয়া কয়েছ, কলেজের উপাধ্যক্ষ তপন কৃষ্ণ দেব, পশ্চিম আলীর গাঁও ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের ভারপ্রাপ্ত চেয়ারম্যান আবুল খায়ের, সমাজকর্ম বিভাগের সহযোগী অধ্যাপক শরিফুল ইসলাম ও গোয়াইনঘাট দর্পণ পত্রিকার সম্পাদক ও প্রকাশক তানজিল হোসেন প্রমুখ।
এ সময় সংগঠনের সাধারণ সম্পাদক রায়হান উদ্দিন, সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক তানজিল আহমাদ, অর্থ সম্পাদক আবু হুরায়রা, প্রচার সম্পাদক আলমগীর হোসেন, দপ্তর সম্পাদক আব্দুল ওয়াদুদ নাদেল সহ অন্যান্য সদস্যবৃন্দ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
